Harry In China



Harry finally made it to China!  But before we discuss that, I want to say - NOTICE THE HAIR???
It's back!!!!

Back to China - He had wanted to go for 4 years.  And every year something seemed to stop it.  Last summer he had planned to go for 6 weeks but ...things happened.  This summer he had a week clear before summer school.  Since he was feeling well enough we figured we why not?  We learned you can't predict the future, so grab the opportunities in the present.

The week soon stretched into 10 days.  He & Casey originally had a vision of couch surfing and meeting new people.  That was quickly shut down.  Luckily our friend Bo Jia stepped in and arranged for the boys to sleep in beds at his cousin's house.  And Bo met them a few days later.   While they were allowed to roam feral by day, they were escorted from the base of Bejing by bullet train & plain to Shanghai, Hangzhou, & Tianjian.        (VIDEO BELOW)

Ken met them on day 6 and took in the sights of Bejing.  And the boys got to move to a hotel.




They did have one day without supervision.  On the way over they had a 12 hour layover in Geneva.  They actually managed to get in a day of breaking into museums & illegal swimming in Lake Geneva and make it back for the flight without losing their tickets or passports!
